Alec Templeton was a composer, pianist and satirist. Born in Wales, his career took him to the US, where he played in orchestras, performed on the radio, and recorded for Victor, Columbia and Decca. More about him and his career can be found on Wikipedia.
This is not one of Templeton’s satiric pieces. Rather, it’s a lovely piece written by Templeton in which he recreates a summer day in New York City. Solo piano.
