Record Type: Double sided 10 inch 78 RPM
Date Recorded: December 1919

With yodeling, zither and guitar. This is labeled “Swiss Folk Song,” and to my ear, has a really unusual sound. Quite unlike the yodeling you hear on American country records–in combination with the zither, it’s almost ethereal.

I have a 1925 colored postcard picturing these two singers which advertises a “Swiss Jodel Concert” for April 26, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio.
