Herb Wiedoeft's
Cinderella Roof Orchestra

The name of Herb Wiedoeft’s band came from the venue where they most often played: the Cinderella Roof Ballroom at the Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel. The band was something of a family affair. Herb’s brothers Gerhardt and Adolph played as sidemen in the orchestra, Gerhardt on string bass and Adolph on percussion and xylophone. Take a listen if you’re in the mood for that classic 1920s sound. See good old Wikipedia for a brief biography and discography of Wiedoeft and his orchestra.
